Graphite properties:

  • High temperature resistance: the melting point of graphite is about 3850 degrees Celsius, the boiling point is about 4250 degrees, even after ultra-high temperature arc burning, the weight loss is very small, the expansion coefficient is very small.
  • High strength: the strength of graphite increases with the increase of temperature. At 2000 degrees Celsius, graphite doubles in strength.
  • Conductivity: the conductivity of graphite is about twice higher than that of non-metallic minerals.
  • Thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of graphite exceeds steel, iron, lead and other metal materials. Thermal conductivity decreases with increasing temperature, even at very high temperatures, graphite becomes an insulator.
  • Lubricity: self-lubricity of graphite enables it to be widely used in graphite seals, mechanical graphite parts and other products.
  • Thermal shock resistance: graphite at room temperature when used can withstand drastic changes in temperature without damage, temperature mutation, the volume of graphite change little, will not crack.

Graphite application:

  • Graphite products for monocrystalline silicon and polysilicon vapor deposition reduction furnace product supplies. In addition, high purity graphite material is also used in the thermal hydrogenation process of silicon tetracloride.
  • Graphite products in the smelting of non-ferrous metal industry as mold, base, a variety of conventional and heterosexual mold supplies.
  • Graphite products in EDM EDM industry supplies.
  • Graphite products for vacuum furnace accessories supplies.
